In this game jam, my teammate and I wanted to develop a game based around the feeling of a ‘final exchange’. Due to the 48 hour time limit, we needed to make sure we could tell a narrative that was simple and easy to understand. Therefore, we made sure to use a combination of text and cutscenes to sell the narrative. Cutscenes draw the player into the narrative, whilst the text delivers more information. In the end we just managed to get the game done after an all-nighter!
